Fishermen continued to catch Spots and Mullets off and on
all day long. Runs of Bluefish were caught using Gotcha plugs, diamond jigs and
bottom rigs. Trout, Pinfish, Flounder, Pompano, Skates and Croakers were also
caught.

Spots were being caught in flurries today until they got
chased away by the Bluefish. Some Spanish Mackerel are being caught along with
Flounder, Pinfish, Black Drum and Trout.

A King Mackerel was finally caught off the end of the pier today
weighing around 24 pounds. Flounder, Mullet and Pompano fishing has been
picking up. Other catches included Bluefish, Spots, Yellow-Tailed Jacks and
Pinfish.

Today the water was dirty but the weather was great. People were catching Bluefish, some Spanish Mackerel, Pinfish, Yellow-Tailed Jacks, small Spots, Mullets
and lots of Pompano. Flounder fishing has picked up and some nice keepers were
pulled in mostly with live finger Mullet for bait.

Spanish Mackerel and Blues were
caught off and on all day. Pompano, Pinfish, some Spots and Ladyfish were also

Cool mornings and hot afternoons make for off and on
fishing. Fishermen are still putting fish in the coolers, but it was hit and miss all day. There were some nice Spanish Mackerel, Trout and Flounder caught today. Pinfish,
Ladyfish, Yellow-tailed Jacks, Bluefish, small Spots and Pompano added to the
catch.

Although it is still unseasonably warm, the mornings are
starting to cool off and the Fall fishing is starting
to pick up. Spanish Mackerel and Blues are now being
caught with regularity with diamond jibs and Gotcha plugs. Pinfish, Black Drum,
Mullets, small Spots, Red Drum and Flounder have been making up the rest of the
catch.

It has been a very hot summer and fishing has slowed.
Fishermen were catching Blues, Spanish Mackerel (some
nice), Pinfish, some Spots, Sharks and an occasional Trout. Off the end they
caught several Sharks and lost a King.

Spots, Mullets, Pompano, small Sharks, Pinfish, Blues and
some nice Spanish were caught today. Off the end, a nice 23 pound King Mackerel
was pulled in.

The Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel
fishing has slowed down but was best during the morning and evening hours. With
the coming of hot weather, the variety of fishing has picked up. Lots of nice
Black Drum, Sheephead and some Flounder and Trout
were caught using sand fleas and live shrimp. Spots, White Perch, Pinfish,
Skates and some Mullets were being caught.

It was a nice day and fishermen were busy at the end of the pier. They
lost a couple of Kings and a Tarpon but one 74 pound Tarpon was finally caught.
Blues and Spanish Mackerel were caught most of the day
usually around high tide. Skates, Flounder, some Spots, Croakers, Black Drum,
Ladyfish and some
Mullets were also caught.

Early in the morning fisherman had a good run of Spanish Mackerel. Blues and Spanish Mackerel
were off and on the rest of the day. Some big Black Drum and Sheephead were caught near the surf along with some catches
of Flounder. A nice Tarpon was caught and lost today near the surf. Pompano,
Pinfish, small Cobia and Angelfish were also caught.

King fishing on the end of the pier is in full swing now as
3 Kings were caught today. Blues and
Spanish were sporatic all day with early in the
morning, around noon and late evening being the best time to snag them. Sharks,
Mullets, Rays, Sheephead and Pinfish added to the
catch.

The morning had some good runs of Spanish Mackerel,
with some being over 20 inches long. Blues and Spanish were caught off and on
during the rest of the day. Sharks and Mullets rounded out the rest of the
catch.

Although there have been some sightings, the first King Mackerel was finally caught off of the end of the pier today. A lot of Blues and Spanish Mackerel were also caught off and on.

Spanish Mackerel were running hot and heavy in the morning and some fishermen limited out on them. Blues were caught off and on all day but not quite as good as yesterday. There is a lot of bait in the water and fishing is starting to look up. As usual, some Mullets, Sharks and Rays were also caught.

We had lots and lots of Blues with many limits caught. Diamond jigs caught a few of them, but most were caught with Gotcha plugs. Spanish Mackerel were also being caught in fairly good numbers along with some Mullets, Sharks and Rays.

The Mullet catch picked up today and filled some coolers. Stingrays and Sharks were being caught along with limits of Bluefish. Some Spanish Mackerel were caught, mostly on yellow headed white Gotcha plugs.

It was a little windy and colder and the Mullet catch was down. But Bluefish were being caught on a regular basis with some fishermen limiting out. Sharks, Stingrays and an occasional Spanish Mackerel added to the catch.

The water is warming up and the Blues are here! Fishermen are now catching Bluefish that are big enough to eat. Along with the Blues, Mullets are still being caught with an occasional Black Drum adding to the mix.

We are enjoying nice fishing weather and the fish are finally starting to cooperate. A nice 5 pound Black Drum was caught today. Trout, Black Bass and Mullets are now being caught on a regular basis.

Another comfortable Spring day with everybody still catching some Sharks, Skates, Blowfish and Mullets in the evening and at night. Added to the list is some catches of Black Drum with shrimp near the surf.

Everyone is enjoying the nice Spring weather and the water is getting warmer. Fishermen are still catching the same fish but the Mullet bite is picking up especially in the late evening and at night.

We are now enjoying beautiful 70 degree Spring weather. As the water temperature rises the fishing will only continue to get better. Right now we are catching Blowfish and Mullets with a Skate or Shark thrown in the mix.

The pier and restaurant/grill has opened and fishermen are starting to try their luck on the pier. The weather has gotten better this week but the wind was a little more than we cared for. Fishing is slowly getting better and the water temperature is closing in on the 60 degree mark. Blowfish, Mullets, Sharks and Skates are being caught as the weather continues to get warmer.
